The IMPACT System
The IMPACT System combines advanced technology, specialized therapies, and rehabilitation techniques to address pain, injury, movement limitations, and physical dysfunction.
Treatment may include laser therapy, shockwave therapy, concussion rehabilitation, vestibular and oculomotor therapy, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise based on each patient's individual needs.

WHIPLASH
NECK INJURY CAUSED BY RAPID ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION
Whiplash occurs when the head and neck are rapidly forced backward and forward, commonly during a motor vehicle collision. This sudden movement can place stress on the muscles, ligaments, joints, discs, and other structures of the cervical spine.
Symptoms may include neck pain, stiffness, headaches, reduced range of motion, muscle tension, shoulder pain, and pain extending into the upper back or arms. Some symptoms may develop immediately, while others may become noticeable later.
Treatment focuses on the specific structures and functional limitations identified during evaluation. Care may include therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, laser therapy, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and other targeted therapies when appropriate.

CONCUSSION
TRAUMATIC INJURY THAT CAN AFFECT BRAIN AND NERVOUS SYSTEM FUNCTION
A concussion can affect multiple systems involved in balance, vision, coordination, movement, exertion, and cognitive function. Symptoms can vary significantly from one person to another.
Common symptoms include headaches, dizziness, balance problems, visual disturbances, sensitivity to light or motion, difficulty concentrating, fatigue, and difficulty tolerating physical or cognitive activity.
Treatment is directed toward the specific impairments identified during evaluation and may include vestibular rehabilitation, oculomotor rehabilitation, balance training, cervical rehabilitation, and progressive exercise.

NECK INJURIES
INJURIES AFFECTING THE CERVICAL SPINE AND SURROUNDING STRUCTURES
The cervical spine is made up of vertebrae, discs, joints, muscles, ligaments, and nerves that work together to support and move the head. Trauma can affect one or multiple structures within this region.
Neck injuries may result in pain, stiffness, muscle spasm, restricted range of motion, headaches, shoulder discomfort, numbness, or symptoms extending into the arms.
Treatment is based on the specific injury and clinical findings. Rehabilitation may focus on restoring mobility, improving strength and stability, correcting movement impairments, and progressively returning to normal activities.

BACK INJURIES
INJURIES INVOLVING THE SPINE, MUSCLES, JOINTS, AND SUPPORTING TISSUES
The lower and mid back contain numerous structures that contribute to movement, stability, and support. Trauma can place stress on the spinal joints, discs, muscles, ligaments, and other supporting tissues.
Symptoms may include localized back pain, stiffness, muscle spasm, restricted movement, and pain or abnormal sensations extending into the hips or legs.
Treatment depends on the structures involved and the patient's functional limitations. Care may include therapeutic exercise, mobility training, neuromuscular rehabilitation, manual therapy, laser therapy, shockwave therapy, and other targeted therapies.

SHOULDER INJURIES
TRAUMATIC INJURIES THAT CAN AFFECT MOVEMENT, STRENGTH, AND STABILITY
The shoulder is a highly mobile joint that depends on muscles, tendons, ligaments, and surrounding structures for stability and movement. Trauma can disrupt this balance and make everyday movements painful or difficult.
Symptoms may include shoulder pain, weakness, reduced range of motion, instability, tenderness, and difficulty reaching, lifting, pushing, or pulling.
Treatment is directed toward the specific injury and functional deficits identified during evaluation. Rehabilitation may focus on restoring mobility, strength, coordination, stability, and functional use of the arm.

SOFT TISSUE INJURIES
INJURIES INVOLVING MUSCLES, TENDONS, LIGAMENTS, AND CONNECTIVE TISSUE
The lower and mid back contain numerous structures that contribute to Soft tissue injuries can occur when muscles, tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissues are subjected to sudden force, repetitive stress, or trauma. These injuries are common following accidents and other physical trauma.
Symptoms may include pain, swelling, tenderness, stiffness, muscle tightness, weakness, and reduced function. The severity and duration of symptoms can vary depending on the tissue involved and extent of the injury.
Treatment may include laser therapy, shockwave therapy, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, mobility work, and progressive strengthening when appropriate for the injury.

AUTO ACCIDENT INJURIES
TRAUMA THAT CAN AFFECT MULTIPLE AREAS OF THE BODY
A motor vehicle collision can expose the body to significant forces that affect multiple structures at the same time. Injuries may involve the neck, back, shoulders, joints, muscles, ligaments, and other soft tissues.
Symptoms may include pain, stiffness, headaches, restricted movement, muscle tension, dizziness, balance problems, and concussion-related symptoms. Some injuries may not become fully apparent until hours or days after the collision.
Treatment is designed around the individual injuries identified during evaluation. Multiple therapies can be integrated into one coordinated rehabilitation program based on the patient's specific needs.
